Exhibition of Real Estate and Renovations at “Expograd Yug” Completes Its Work

LLC "SOUTHERN EXHIBITION COMPANY" (UVK) is known as one of the leaders in the market of exhibition services in the South of Russia. UVK is an organizer of its own exhibitions and festivals, a partner of many large-scale exhibition projects, forums, congresses, both on the regional and federal levels.
Exhibition of Real Estate and Renovation in the exhibition and congress complex "Expograd Yug" is one of our projects. The event has gained significant status and recognition for the time of its activity. At the exhibition, residents and guests of the region could get acquainted with the most interesting offers in the housing market, a wide range of services for choosing real estate and the choice of lending programs, and leading developers - to present their most current and promising projects and find new customers.
Over the years the exhibition has been visited by more than 20,000 people. Many, thanks to this, became owners of apartments and houses in Krasnodar Krai. In November 2017 the exhibition event was expanded with a new section devoted to renovation, repair, and design.
In October 2018 it was planned to hold the 4th "Exhibition of Real Estate and Renovation". But despite this, the management of "SOUTHERN EXHIBITION COMPANY" LLC decided to conclude the project.
The decision to cancel the exhibition was not easy, but it was made on the basis of a deep analysis of Krasnodar Krai real estate market and consumer demand.
Despite the fact that Kuban continues to be among the leaders, among the subjects of the Russian Federation, on the rate of housing construction, in the last few years in the region there has been a steady decline in the commissioning of residential buildings. In the first half of 2018 alone, the volume of residential "squares" commissioned decreased by almost a third, compared to the same period in 2017. At the same time, many developers record a stagnant demand for real estate from buyers, with a parallel oversupply from developers.
In response to market changes, developers are transforming their approach to promotion, using new channels of advertising, mainly on the Internet, where buyers have long moved in search of real estate, as well as companies offering repair and design services.
According to the statistics of the event, the number of deals, between guests of the exhibition and its participants, gradually decreased, despite the efforts of the organizers and exhibitors to maximize the effect. Consumers want to make a balanced choice when purchasing real estate or entering into a renovation contract. It seems quite reasonable that people want to carefully consider all offers. And, as it turns out, there are disproportionately more of them online than even the most large-scale exhibition project can offer.
Thus, the management of LLC "SOUTHERN EXHIBITION COMPANY" decided to terminate the project "Exhibition of Real Estate and Renovation" at the "Expograd Yug" and to concentrate its activity on the implementation of other high-quality, exclusive and promising projects.
